a nice evening indeed!
see, a couple of years ago i met a girl at work, we'll call her Mrs Cupcake, & we hit it off. thru Mrs C, i met Buckshee aka Brokeshopaholic as well as a few of Mrs C's old gal pals. and you know, the bunch of us all get along like it ain't no thing! we've done some traveling, some wedding-ing , some very fast driving, and we got together tonight at Mrs C's Casa for a catch-up-get-together-potluck -dinner/birthday thingee for Mrs C. so nice to chill with wine, coffee, good food & laughs with the ladies + and the occasional quip from Mr C. we've got a baby on the way! & i finally got to oogle the lovely belly. you know what really amuses me though? when we all sit around and talk shop (gross gross nursey stuff) i just love the look on Em's face!
tonight i am thankful for good friends.
