I received my confirmation in the mail today for my Doula classes, pre-natal & post-natal! Now waiting to hear about the CBE and breastfeeding classes, also waiting for my certification package, assignments & info from DONA so that as soon as my classes are done I can "preceptor" & start attending some births! WOOT!

This is really an AMAZING undertaking...what made you decide to do this? How long is the class or classes.Will you work independently? Please forgive all these questions, I have never known anyone in this field and I find it very interesting.
